JUST GOT BACK FROM A 5 DAY TRIP TO CANADA'S PROVINCE OF QUEBEC. HERE ARE MY
FRS FINDINGS:

City Of Quebec:

-Very little activity. If any at all, they were American tourists.
-A lot of chirps and birdies. I think this is due to the streets and roads
of the city. A construction worker told me that Quebec is known for
excessive amounts of aluminum and steel plateing under their roads.

City of Three Rivers:

-4 channels were being used by local businesses. 1 channel was being used
by an American coach bus.

City of Montreal:

-Very little activity also. Most were Americans, I heard one party that was
speaking in French. (I was on the 16th floor of my hotel, out on the
balcony)
-No birdies at all.

Conclusion:

FRS is not nearly used as much in Canada than in the USA.

PS - I ALSO LISTENED TO QUEBEC FM RADIO AND TELEVISION ON A RADIO SHACK DUAL
BAND RECIEVER. I'D SAY HALF OF ALL THE STATIONS WERE IN FRENCH AND THE
OTHER HALF IN ENGISH.
