It seems to me more likely that the demonstrators would do this than the
MPD. Bad idea for the demonstrators, as it knocks out the notion of using
FRS frequencies for personal communications. They would have been better
off with scanners to listen to the MPD. As if Scan-DC listers didn't know
that.

I feel sorry for any tourists in town who had brought FRSes with them
hoping to communicate amongst themselves, only to find all frequencies
blocked.
