[SADXA] Fwd: [CADXA] Lightning strike at WA1S

A couple of years ago I had a lightning arrestor at the bottom of the
tower that took one for the team. The strike passed from the antenna,
through the arrestor, and then into the ground rods at the base of the
tower.
There was no other damage aside from the unit reading a dead short
across it. I thought that would be a cheap and simple repair since it
had a removable gas tube. But that was not to be. The access plug had
become welded to the arrestor box, and so the shorted gas tube was
permanently sealed in place. Fortunately I had a spare one from a
different manufacturer, so the replacement didn't take much time to do.
I consider myself lucky that nothing else was damaged.
