A memorial service for Wally, KB7GAI, will be conducted on Saturday
November 5th at 11 AM.  The service will be held at the Grace Community
Church, 9755 North La Cholla Blvd, between Lambert and Overton.

Wally was active on most of the amateur bands including even
160-meters.  He had an inverted-L held up with a 40-foot mast.  I
enjoyed many a winter evening chatting with Wally on 160 using the AM
mode on a DX-100.  He was a cornerstone on 10 and 6-meters. Often times
our discussions often drifted into the realm of broadcast band DXing,
vinyl records and sound systems, the Navajo Code-talkers, and the merits
of Hallicrafters, Hammarlund, and National.

Rest in Peace Wally.
