This is your notice of the March SADXa meeting
which will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Cattletown
Steakhouse and Saloon, 3141 E Drexel Road, Tucson, for the purpose of
conducting our March business, and for our March program
presentation.

Those meeting in person to join us for dinner usually gather around 5 PM.
We will open the Zoom doors at 6:15 or a bit earlier. The business and Zoom
portion of our meeting will commence shortly after 6:30 PM.

This meeting will be held both in-person and on Zoom.  If you will be
joining on Zoom, your invitation and password can be found below, along
with information on our March program. You will no longer have to wait
to be admitted to the meeting on Zoom and upon your sign in you will
automatically be joining the Zoom meeting.

Our program for March from our Vice President, Dismachek, N6ITY, will be a
video on 2006 ZL8R Kermadec DXpedition.  Here is his description of the
presentation.

ZL8R Kermadec Islands DXpedition

Separated from New Zealand by over 1000 km, and located at the junction of
two opposing continental plates, the Kermadec chain of islands is one of
the most seismically active regions of the world. Raoul Island, located at
its northern end, is home to a large volcano which violently erupted
without warning on March 17, 2006.

Six months later, under the close supervision of the New Zealand Department
of Conservation, the Microlite Penguins DXpedition team was offered a rare
opportunity to explore Raoul Island, and activate yet another of the DX
world's most wanted.
