[SADXA] DX Spot

Didn't work any of the recent spots but yesterday about 5 pm I was checking to see if fiddling with my 2 HF antennae improved reception any.  FD was not impressive, about 100 contacts--haven't checked for dupes yet.  Anyway, I was looking at the inbounds and up popped Egypt!  5 contacts down up popped Madeira Island (Well, a Hungarian probably on vacation, HA2K.  I called the Egyptian for about 5" and so no activity to or from so I switched to the Madeira station, CT9/HA2KF, as there was some activity on his signal.  Lo and behold I got him. He is #112, or better yet #100!   This morning I uploaded by FD contacts to LOTW, not expecting any news from Madeira but the download showed confirmation as well as Wallis & Futuna.  Of the 12-waiting confirmation I expect 3 may show up but several are OLD.  The first Croatia contact was 7 years ago, and I have worked several since but nobody over there does LOTW.

Anyway, I'm happy, think I'll go buy some firecrackers!
