[SADXA] Working TO6S

Back on January 24 I sent a spot to the club and included a suggestion to work
them on as many band/modes (slots) as possible.  Taking my own advice I
endeavored to do just that. Clublog has an "Expedition mode" that participating
expeditions* can use which allows "chasing" stations to see when they made into
the log.  If you are in a club you can also see your standings with respect to
your peers.  CADXA has turned this into a competitive exercise, with some
members being *very* much so.  This time that included me.

When all was said and done, TO6S operated on 28 slots, although on a few of them
they made very few QSOs.  For example, out of 20K total contacts, just 17 were
made on RTTY.  They made only 35 contacts on FT4; I was one of them.  In total I
worked them on 21 slots.  This made me No. 1 in SADXA, CADXA and US Zone 3, 2nd
in ARRL and tied for 2nd with W4YCM and PE5TS in the world.  W4DXX was 1st in
the latter groups.  He has a super station located in southern Georgia, a chip
shot away from TO6S.

Bottom line; lots of fun and a good way to hone your operating skills and learn
something about propagation.  I hope more of you try it on the next big expedition.

* Some expeditions discourage this activity and don't use expedition mode.  I
understand this for smaller operations to rarer locations, but using it does cut
down on "insurance" QSOs.
