Wes,

Thanks for the heads up.. However I already have TX5 on 40m. However I
do have a question. Now that the pandemic has pretty much rolled out the
back door, and the SunSpots are on the upswing, where are the real
DXEpditions? You know, like the ones who went to the really rare ones. Is
the lack of funding, intestinal fortitude or age perhaps? Actually at my
age (72) I would probably enjoy the experience but would not be able to pay
the physical price. You always run the risk of coming home in a large
plastic bag!

Still waiting for my P5 confirmation from a contest I was in years ago.
 Ha Ha!

Oh BTW, I was very sorry to hear about the passing of our friend John and
Larry a while back. Funny thing, I have been an SDR guy for the past 15
years with my first being a Flex-5000. A few years later I decided I
needed another one for field day as I didn't want to take my home station
apart for that event. Then a couple years later I ran across another one
that had the UV module installed (2m and 70cm) so I bought it from a guy in
Tucson. Turns out it was the one Larry Brown owned. Way cool!

73,

Jim WO7V
