Fellow SMC members, DXers and contesters, may want to see our upcoming 
presentation by Carl, K9LA, about the practical application of solar indices. 
Please join us on Tuesday evening. All are welcome:

*Madison DX Club Meeting is Tuesday, January 12^th on Zoom*

"Understanding and Applying Solar Indices" will be presented by Carl 
Luetzelschwab, K9LA. Carl will review the colorful N0NBH's space weather banners 
(for example, at http://www.qrz.com <http://www.qrz.com/>) with respect to what 
the parameters mean and how they impact radio propagation. He will also review 
more indices found at http://www.spaceweather.com 
<http://www.spaceweather.com/> and http://www.swpc.noaa.gov 
<http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/>. Carl will be available to answer your questions, so 
please join us for an interesting evening. All are welcome.

*Time*:   Our Zoom host and Program Chairman, Kevin Shea, N9JKP, will be online 
from 5:45 CDT (2245 GMT) to socialize before the business meeting begins and to 
provide time to work through any technical issues.  In case of problems getting 
on, you can call or text Kevin at 608-444-4125.

A brief business meeting will begin at 6:15 CDT.

The program will begin immediately following the meeting and no later than 6:30
