Hi Lawrence,
I believe the best time for SN DX in this remaining December is between SN and [SN+1Hr]. SN=1920Z NOW.
I am interested in FT8 data during this timeframe, as well as WSPR data.
So far, no one has heard any 4Om SN CW DX during the SN Window.
Thanks for trying. An S7 Noise level seems challenging.

I listened on the 15th after about 11 Am but the noise level here was almost S7 which is kind of unusual. All i heard was the CWT guys on the east coast, one was a 3 and the other a 2, nothing real strong but copiable. All i have is an inverted V at about 20 ft. I didn't listen for FT4 or WSPR stations at that time.

I have been on WSPR throughout the night on 40M though. I think the two most distant stations were several ZS stations, several EA's and a German DL. Just now at 1556Z this morning i copied ZS3D running 5W on 7.040025. A good start for today possibly? I am running 2W to the antenna but after the line losses i might be getting 1W radiated, maybe.

I have not been listening for CW sigs as yet, maybe in a couple of hours.
