My wife, Carmen (N7XJP) and I are also vaccinated. Like Jim, we are limiting group engagements again after the Delta variant increased. We don’t wish to harm others, especially children. On the second of July, the one unvaccinated member of our 15 Arizona extended family got it. Late 30s, super fit but now suffering. He has used up his sick leave. We will enjoy DX at home abd piddle with unfinished projects. But love to see everyone when this virus is defeated. Who would have ever imagined our senior years would be like this?

I heard from a restaurant owner near me that the county deleted the capacity restriction so they may be able to clear out the back room. I like Cattletown. The menu is more varied and they have WiFi. My evidence for this comes via an invitation that came in the mail for a "free" gourmet meal at that restaurant at 6:00 PM on August 17th (chicken, salmon, or filet mignon!). I don't plan on attending because it is certainly a marketing event for the sale of various investment products by some wealth management company. The sales people will be giving the attendees lots of opportunities to spend their money, big time.In any case, the invitation shows some sign of life for our old meeting place. Maybe they'll be reopening to the public soon.73, Jim W9FI______________________________________________________________SADXA Website http://www.sadxa.orgSADXA mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/sadxaHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:SADXA at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netYou can support qsl.net: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
