Although I am leaving town for the summer, I favor in-person meetings and will attend after I return in the fall.
Cattleman's is a good spot.
While I don't participate in Zoom meetings, I think it is a good idea to have that available for those who are still reluctant to attend in-person meetings.
I might add that the RST and other clubs have been successfully having in-person meetings since November with no adverse effects.

Subject: [SADXA] May In-person SADXA Meeting

It has been a long time since our last in-person meeting. Many, but not all of us, have now been vaccinated. Meeting health guidelines have lessened some, although strong warnings remain in place about attending gatherings.

I would like to take a survey to gauge your interest in restarting in-person SADXA meetings perhaps in May, or June. As Pinnacle Peaks is not available due to remodeling, Bruce Has suggested we consider the Cattleman’s Restaurant down near the airport where we held our Christmas party in 2019. At this venue members would be able to order dinner prior to the start of the meeting in a room with capacity to accommodate up to 60 attendees.

If possible, please respond by Saturday, April 24. I will summarize and report back to you (unattributed) results of the survey and comments early next week.

Please respond by email to me on the questions, below:

I would attend an in-person SADXA meeting.

I would favor restarting our in-person meetings beginning in May.

I would not favor restarting our in person meeting starting in May and suggest we restart in __________.

Would the suggested meeting venue be acceptable?

What health safety guidelines should we put in place if we meet in-person?

If we meet in-person, should the business meeting and program also be held over Zoom for those unable to attend or who are hesitant about attending?

Other comments?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to respond to these questions.

73,

Alan Komenski - AC2K
SADXA President
