The software we're using for Log Search /OQRS was designed by our team,
first used in 2014 at TX3X, it's been refined every year since.
The objective was do design a user interface that's familiar to the user
(Clublog) but the back end automates many of the QSL Manager's manual
tasks.
The application seamlessly integrates the donor data base (from the
VP8PJ website) and the OQRS' PayPal data - to the OQRS. That's why LoTW
is matched and updated quickly. The output is extracted at least once
per day for upload LoTW. The app prints all the QSL card and envelop
labels, provides statistics, and archive-able files.
The fully configurable front and back end allow the QSL manager to
optimize the process to conform to the DX-pedition QSL policy. The QSL
manager's workload (from the old way of handling confirmations) was
reduced by an amazing 75%.
Tim M0URX and Charles M0OXO joined the project early in it's life and
provided detailed requirements as seen by two experienced QSL managers.
They are the exclusive QSL manager users of the software.
Cheers,
