Congrats on the long haul contact.
Sort of depends on how you worked it.
If you worked it on FT8 then that is becoming the norm for working Long Haul DX on 6. Folks are reporting working all over the world on FT-8 on the 6 meter band. So with folks all around reporting working that long haul stuff such as the G8 practically daily it is not anywhere near the excitement of working them on SSB or CW.
Folks will soon be reporting working DXCC on 6 in a matter of days when in the past and prior to FT8, it took many years, in the order of 20 or 30 years, to work DXCC on 6.
Its all in what spins you up.
