I hope that you are all well and that you are taking advantage of your shut down time to get on the air and work a little, or a lot, of DX.

We will be having a May meeting - On Zoom. I have asked my friend Grant, KZ1W, if he would give his presentation on the DXpedition he and Rob, N7QT, took to H44 to our SADXA group in May, and he has said he would be happy to do so.

I had the pleasure of seeing Grant’s presentation a couple of weeks ago when he gave to the Radio Club of Redmond (WA). I know you will enjoy it.

Zoom has recently tightened up their security measures in the app and to insure we don’t get any unwanted participants, we will be sending out an invitation that will contain the meeting number and the password that you will need to use to join the meeting. I will also have some information posted on the SADXA web site but members who see it there and who do not receive an email will have to send me an email to get the meeting information.

For those of you who are not familiar with using Zoom, I will include some basic information in the email. It will not be necessary for you to download the app, but If you have it, you can use the app to gain access. Otherwise, there will be a link to the Zoom site for you to gain access.

It will most likely be scheduled on our normal meeting date, to start at 7PM, and will run for an hour or so.

I am not sure yet how to record the presentation from the Zoom app, but I know that is possible. If I figure that out we can post a link to it on the web site.

If you have any questions, let me know. I will be looking forward to seeing you in our meeting later this month.
