With low power, a dipole & vertical, and did not stay up all night, I now
have 53 countries on 40m.
I saw a JA spotted at our noon, but could not hear the JA.

For those who have been following Bill and his research on Gray Line and
Long Path propagation, and specifically 40 meters, here is what happened at
my station the first 18 hours or so of the CQ WW CW contest, that is going
on right now. There is still time to get in the fray and work some new ones
on 40 meters. You may have to stay up all night to get the biggest bang out
of the conditions but it is going on.
This was my answer to Bill on my observation of the band last night and this
morning.
