[SADXA] 40 meters

Good Morning All,

 

I don't know if this is some of that strange 40 meter propagation that Bill
talked about last night, but I just worked SM4OTI (Steve) on 40 meters CW at
around 1330Z.  It wasn't great copy, but it was a QSO.  That's a bit late
for propagation to Europe isn't it???  It's mid day for Steve and just
slightly before sunrise here.  Of course by this time of year Sweden is in
the dark most of the time!  Hi.  

 

Anyway, it was a surprise that I could even be heard with my 100 watts.
There's probably some other explanation for it, but I couldn't help but
think of Bill's presentation.  I was expecting to only hear stations west of
me.
