Thanks for the heads up, Dave.   I found a YouTube video of what is probably
the same program at:

It lasts about 10 minutes.

Listen to the code in the background during the documentary, it is sent
correctly. It isn't just a bunch of beeps that sound like code. Even though
the production quality is dated, they do take time to get the details
correct.

Hi All,

Most of us are probably old enough to remember the "Pete Smith Specials" 
that were shown frequently in movie houses back around the 50's, and I think

the 40's too.  Anyway, today on Turner Classic Movies, at just a few minutes

after 5 P.M. Mountain Standard Time, there is going to be one of Pete 
Smith's crazy short subjects, this time apparently about ham radio!!!  It 
will probably be pretty "corny", but maybe you'll want to watch it anyway.
