Well as so often happens the band is like fishing, you drop your bait in the pond to see what grabs it. To day a JW shows up and I could use it also and being in the morning path is very unusual.
JT1CO showed up a couple of days ago and was very workable, got him on both calls no problem. But it had been months since I heard him on 160.
I know the JW has been showing up in the evening but I always get out there after he is gone. But you hearing him this morning as well as you did speaks well for your antenna and not so will of mine. There just was not a sound.
