[SADXA] Elecraft K3/P3 Macro Information Needed

Has anybody in the club set up macros in their P3's memory to control 
their K3 transceiver? I have several macros loaded in the P3's memory 
that have been tested using the K3 Utility software.  All of these 
commands (band changes, transmitter power changes, mode changes, etc.) 
work fine in test mode and I can see the macros appearing on the SVGA 
screen when I call them out via a USB keyboard.  But the K3 ignores the 
commands anyway.  Neither the instructions in the Elecraft manual nor in 
Fred Cady's book have solved this problem.

I'm sure that I'm missing a setup step somewhere but I don't know what 
it is.  If anybody is successfully using K3 macros that are stored in 
the P3's memory, please send me an email or give me a call with a 
suggestion or two.
