Joe, because some QSO confirmations are counted by the DXCC desk and 
others do not, the easiest way to get the challenge total is to let LotW 
do the work.  Go to the "Account Status" screen for your DXCC Account 
and grab the number from the "Total (Current)" column.

In fact, SADXA has standardized on that column for our DX Ladder 
results.  The numbers in that last column are the ones needed for the 
Ladder.  No fancy calculations needed.  Just send me revised numbers 
whenever they change.  I'll get them into the latest version of the DX 
Ladder.
