Jim,
I have private messaged you, but, in case you don't get it. I have a cap that may work. It is yours if you want. It is a small variable with a quarter inch shaft, cap range: about 6 -37 pF. I don't know if I can attach pictures on the reflector, but worst case, it won't take them, but I have attached a couple of pictures.
Good luck in finding the cap you need.

Subject: [SADXA] SX-111 trimmer cap needed
Here's an off-topic query for you.
My brother is restoring an old Hallicrafters SX-111 receiver. Its been kept in a damp basement for many decades and corrosion has taken a heavy toll. He's been able to rejuvenate most of its moving parts, clean out the rust from the chassis and touch it up, and sand down and repaint the cabinet. To finish the job he's in need of an antenna trimmer capacitor. The original trimmer is so corroded that its rotator shaft broke off, along with one of the rotor plates. It's a small 4-50 pf unit that has 7 stator plates. He didn't mention it but as I recall this trimmer had a 1/4" shaft on it. It sticks out of the extreme right side of the front panel, just below the slide rule dial. He'll be able to reuse its original knob once he finds the appropriate part.
Does anybody have something suitable in their boat anchor junk box that can be used as a replacement?
Thanks and 73, Jim W9FI
