Hi Dick,
The link below is from Tucson's National Weather Service (NWS), which shows
a graphical hour by hour 2 day forecast for most selectable weather
parameters, including thunder (i.e. lightning).
As far as ham radio is concerned, the two most important forecast parameters
are lightning and wind (Average Speed and Direction). The wind graphic will
also show the forecast peak wind gust above the average wind graphic. The
wind guest forecasts are most applicable in the winter, as summer monsoon
wind gusts and direction depends on the storm intensity and relative cell
location (to your QTH).

lightening alerts/risks?
