TEP is regulated by the Arizona Corporation Commission. As elected officials, they should be more responsive. I know several of them and they are approachable.

Are the sounds that we hear appear, to me, possible tangible indicators of lack of maintenance of their equipment? That translates into downstream justifications/requests/ demands for rate increases. I am willing to work with any members on resolving this issue. Of lend a hand. The fact that different utilities are treating the problem differently works to our (ham’s) advantage.

Contact me. Thanks..

This isn't new, they essentially told me this back in the 1980's and the guy telling me was a ham who I regularly talked to on the air, although on the telephone he never mentioned his identity. I learned that later. I wound up ambushiionng the CEO at a public meeting and asking pointed questions, which of course he couldn't answer. But I did get some help.

TEP appears to have dismantled Gary’s special SUV filled with RFI locating equipment. The “technician” that came to my location was using a car radio, I think. Does anyone know what it going on? The TEP people are very nice, but results also help.
