Jim,
I'm glad yo hear of your accomplishment. I just got my eighth 80-meter contact confirmed, only 92 to go. I know how hard you worked to get 100 confirmed on 80.
The path to a digital DXCC is to work a lot of RTTY contests.

Today I met with Ron Cade, W6ZQ, to get a batch of QSLs checked .  This
latest group of cards puts me over the threshold for 80 meter DXCC and
also 5-band DXCC, so I'm a happy guy right now.  I set my sights on this
two years ago and got up early in the morning for many months to snag
all of the new ones that were needed.  Now it's finally happened, just
near the end of the 80M DX season.

My next goal is the digital DXCC award.  Based on my current rate of
progress, that should take a little under a year to do.  I'm still one
shy of the Honor Roll, so you'll hear me in the pileups if one of those
rare ones comes on the air.  Who knows: next time maybe I'll be able to
work the real Monk Apollo instead of an imposter.  Time will tell.

73, Jim  W9FI
