The person you must be thinking about was Mr. Berkey, don't think he is around anymore.  His website is down.
I have a presentation on Lightning and have given that all over the place.  It passed inspection when I gave it in front of a bunch of lightning experts from around the world.  Carl has seen it, I gave it at the Oro Valley hamfest late last year.
Be glad to give that to the club.  I also have one on grounding and another on stealth antennas.

Does anyone remember the name of the guy who came to SADXA a couple of 
times and talked to us about how not to blow up your station from 
lightning? Or in other words does anyone know of an expert on that 
subject who knows what he is talking about.
