I don't have his name, but he worked for http://www.vaisala.com/en/weather/lightning/Pages/default.aspx in Tucson. He spoke to SADXA in March 2010. I have my notes from his talk.

Jon Ruez, his understudy, installed a lightening protection system on my house in 2010.

Does anyone remember the name of the guy who came to SADXA a couple of times and talked to us about how not to blow up your station from lightning? Or in other words does anyone know of an expert on that subject who knows what he is talking about.
