[SADXA] VP5/KB7AZ Status

Hi from Grand Turk,
After diving, lunch, and a nap I set up on the beach with my FT-819 and WolfRiver vertical. The power line noise here is a mere S-8 so I could actually hear some stations. This is better than Cayman Brac where it was 20 to 30 dB over S-9 on all bands. 
Since I was not in whatever contest was going on I could not get any responses from really loud stations. I did manage a QSO with someone in Saint Martin on 20 meters so I know the antenna works. I will try again tomorrow. If there is propagstion to Tucson I will send out a message. 
The diving us good, and so is the food.
