Jim,

Note this was exactly what I had predicted. See my Page 45 of Part 2
Propagation. You were very close to Gray-line.. actually.

Note VU can be either LP or SP this weekend. Basically could be +/- 2.5
Hrs about the SR or SS terminator on 40m. These are opportunity windows.
Your observation was right at SS. The MUF plays another role as to WHEN!!
Also, 30m has a longer time.. maybe +/- 3 Hrs about terminator. Guess, I'll
fire up my 3ele yagi on 30m and 40m tonight.. around SS and see what I can
work over the N/S polar regions. It should work.. as you have just observed.
I should see how many DX stations I can work over the N/S polar region
tonight on 40m and 30m. Might fire up my Drake L7 Linear on 40m for grins.

Next will comment on your following DX report.

Back from ARRL.

Best 73s,

Bill

He's calling CQ, looking for a reply on his frequency. I can hear him
but can't raise him. Perhaps somebody with a better antenna than mine
can do so.

GL, Jim W9FI
