Wes...............

Not to be discouraged!!!!

I started on 160 about 10 years......first contact was on 5/25/06 with
KH6ND/KH5 - Palmyra Isl. Since then have 109 DXCC using
trapped 160/80 dipole with apex at 50 feet. Antenna used on
RX and TX......no loop noise-cancelling antennas. City lot
in Chandler.....running AL800 most of the time at 7-800 watts.

Question is....How close are you to 100!!!!!(age).......;-)

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Hi Jim,

I now have 59 worked and 48 confirmed on 160.

This morning brought another problem. My relatively new Elecraft K3S, which
has
been back to the factory twice already for TX IMD issues, failed completely.
It's something in the 100W module. Fortunately, I have my old K3 as a
backup.
I'm waiting for a response from Elecraft.

73, Wes
