Wes,I totally agree with you. To mee it seems Monk Apollo has held Mt Athos hostage as far as operations go. I wonder if this new guy has "his blessing to operate from there" Certainly working greece is no big deal.73 NR6M

I saw that and as it being one of two I need for Top of the Honor Roll, I was 
very interested.  He has been on 40 meters according to some spots.

Of course, this doesn't change my personal opinion that this shouldn't actually 
be a DXCC entity. According to his QRZ profile, he was licensed by the "Ministry 
of Telecommunications."  Does Mt. Athos have a Ministry of Telecommunications?  
Of course not, so he has a license issued by Greece and he has permission from a 
glorified HOA to operate.
