[SADXA] 6 Meter SB-220 Amp For Sale

I have a new SPE 1.3K-FA on order so the other Amps got to go.


I have an SB-220 for sale that I converted to 6 Meters. I used the April,
2008 QST article as a guide, with a couple of small changes that I
discussed with the Author(s). I also gleaned several tips from other
sources.



The Amp put out 1,100 Watts, Key Down (no PEP magic here), at which point I
quit. I ran it at 800 Watts out, if for nothing else, to keep the Heath
Plate Transformer from giving up the ghost (after all it is only a 600 VA
Transformer).

It is quite stable, I could not make it go into oscillation.

The Amp also includes the full gambit of Harbach Mods (Soft-Key,
Soft-Start, new Meter Board and the Filter Cap/Bleeder Resistor Mod).


Asking $700 for it, pick-up in Vail. I also have 2 sets of NIB 3-500Z's
that I will let go with the Amp or after it is sold.
