Well I have been at work at the hours they have been widely worked here
on 10/12m. I was pleased to
hear an honest 59 signal, even briefly.
I have been listening to them on 18155 with wixed results (and feelings)
Results wise, I tend to hear them better (4x4) on long path than short
(3x2), but both paths have deep QSB for me.
Feelings-wise, I am sorry they have no idea where the upper 17m band
edge is, and are calling for
a split that lures quite a few callers out-of-band. The QRM from the (in
this case maybe well-intentioned) cops is a real impediment to hearing E30FB
on either path.
BTW as of 2034 when opr WD5COV went QRX, 18155 has been mostly 5x7 for
the past 90 minutes.
