Hi Jerry and Wes,
Very glad to work you Jerry, you just popped up out of the pile before
it had time to engulf your signal. Very much like W1AW/ operation
where all are same level like S3 and then when you call they come back
S9. Desensing in band pass I guess. It was 2 AM or so when I worked
you and band was still open but starting to fade.
We have been on 40 CW but I was only on a while this morning. Worked
mostly EU since WD5COV had run NA before me then actually got EU to
stand by for NA for a while.
Suffering flu-like symptoms but plugging away. Anyway experiencing
the thrill of a life-time. Hope you all can work us on extra bands.
