They're pretty straightforward power supplies.  I converted one to a "smart" 
battery charger.  So I removed the regulator circuit board and basically just 
used the raw DC and pass transistors with a new charge controller board.  I have 
the old regulator board that you are welcome to.

Since the fuse isn't blown, you probably have some DC and just need the lower 
power (and more sensitive) electronics.
