I just did this search for QCWA meetings.  Not that much out there.

Old Pueblo Grill at Broadway and Alvernon has two rooms one for 50 and one for 20.
Casa Del Rio at Pantano and 22nd street has a room for 35
Las Margaritas at 3602 E Grant Rd has a room for 36

For those of you that did not get this e-mail from the re-mailer
here is data from Dick, W1KSZ  concerning the closing of CoCo's.
I anticipate that our major business discussion will concern the
selection of a new permanent meeting location so if you have any
ideas or preferences be sure to attend.  

If you can think of any restaurants that have meeting rooms
available, it would be a good idea to check them out to see if
they are big enough, quiet enough and find out any
costs/conditions on scheduling and using them.  I am not aware of
very many centrally located options so if you can think of any
please check them out or submit the idea.

Coco's is kaput !!

Bruce called me and said he heard Coco's on Broadway had closed
their doors. I went over and personally confirmed this.

Given such short notice, I felt in necessary to locate another
venue for the April 16th meeting.

The meeting (and dinner) will be held at the Golden Corral, at
4380 E. 22nd Street. This is the location of the Flea Market held
12 days ago.

They have a nice Function area, closed off from the rest of the
restaurant and can provide separate checks. AC power is available.

Now the Bad News ... they have NO LIQUOR LICENSE and cannot permit
brown bagging, so no jugs, no flasks, no alcohol of any kind.

We can discuss at the meeting the future of the club meeting site,
if warranted.

Since not all members are on this Reflector and a few do not have
computers, please pass the word.
better you hear it twice than not at all.

I will post a notice at Coco's on the 16th.
