[SADXA] There's gold in that logbook

Ok I'll admit it. I'm not real big on phone contests. This past weekend
hosted probably the largest and most popular phone contest of the year.
The CQ world wide DX phone contest. Lacking the big antennas necessary to
be competitive in that one doesn't help my enthusiasm one bit. So
generally I prefer the CW or RTTY contests. Maybe because of the anonymity
they provide, or perhaps because I'm just too lazy to talk! So on Sunday
morning I thought I would get up before sunrise and try to cherry pick a
new one or two. Well as expect I could hear them but not work them. The
pileups were just too big. So to pass the time I thought I would do
something different. I printed a copy of my DX record available on lotw
and started checking my logbook for non confirmed Qs from DX entities that
I needed. Well boy did I hit pay dirt. I found about 25. Some from a few
dxpeditions and others from just people I had worked casually. Needless to
say I spend most of the rest of the day preparing qso labels for the cards
and address labels for the envelopes, stuffing envelopes with cards and
green stamps. A few qsl managers don't even want your card. you just
grease their palm with some cash paid via paypal and QRRS. So for you
guys who haven't mined their log for QSO's lately, I would suggest that you
do so. You just might find that new one that you forgot all about!
