Ron, I bought Mineral Oil for my dummy load at Walgreens. It comes in Quart bottles.

Hi Ron; All my dummy loads use mineral oil. Even the ones I leave on the mountain top buildings. It works and it is less messy then regular oil.
My mineral oil was bought at the store many years ago. When I get back from this DX trip I will look around and let you know the store where mineral oil can be found.

Subject: [SADXA] dummy load oil??
Anyone have suggestions and/or sources for oil for a dummy load? I have a Heath Cantenna dummy load that requires about a gallon of oil. Years ago, I replaced the original, probably with PCB's, oil with the currently recommended stuff. However, shortly before I moved to Tucson, my trusty cantenna sprang a leak and most of the oil ended up on my ham shack floor.
Does anyone know of a local source for more oil. I need a gallon of the stuff.
Thanks.
