Please help them with this poll, you do not need to live in Poway to 
take the poll.

    Many of you live in San Diego County, where this antenna battle is
    going on.

    Even if you don't, please take a moment to go on line an vote in the
    single-question poll.  Local Hams in Poway have been working hard to
    get a
    zoning law compliant with PRB-1, and the local civic association is
    fighting
    them tooth and nail.  Please help them out with this poll, which
    ends today
    (Wed. May 15).  Go to http://www.pomeradonews.com/.    Scroll about
    halfway
    down the page and look in the right-hand column.  It's a short item just
    below some banner ads.  Numbers count!

    Hi.

    I am writing to ask your help with a newspaper directed poll.

    Here in Poway, amateur radio operators like myself are fighting a battle
    with an elitist group of people representing a tiny minority of city
    residents.

    They are opposed to our individual rights to erect an amateur radio
    antenna,
    in spite of Federal and California  State law rules that support an
    amateur
    radio licensee's right to erect antennas on their private property..

    This in reality is a FIGHT over individual property rights.

    YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A LOCAL RESIDENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS NEWSPAPER
    POLL!

    The poll is on the right side of the website, 1/2 way down the right
    hand
    side. It is difficult to read.

    PLEASE HELP US DEFEND OUR PERSONAL RIGHTS, AND IN THE LONG RUN THE
    PRIVATE
    PROPERTY RIGHTS OF ANYONE WHO WISEHS TO DO SOMETHING COMPLETELY
    LEGAL AND
    LICENSED BY THE UTHORITIES.
