[SADXA] W1AW/7 report from N7WS

Well, as previously mentioned I didn't have a lot of joy.  I self-confined myself to one slot, 20-meter RTTY, at 1800-2300Z.  The reasoning for this is that I wanted to put out a decent signal and at the moment my "good" antenna is a HB 3el monoband Yagi.  (I have a triband Optibeam in a box in the garage but a lot of good that does.)  Likewise, I wanted to make minimal impact on family life.

Unfortunately, Saturday was a bust since I had to attend a memorial service for a friend, not that it mattered too much, since the BARTG contest pretty much made it pointless to be on Saturday and/or Sunday.  When I did operate I was besieged with requests for contest exchanges.  With more prep I suppose I could have programmed for this but I hadn't.

All together I made only 520 Qs with 498 uniques. Surprisingly, of the total, 33% (172) were DX stations in 37 different DXCC countries. They seem to be more interested than the US guys.

I also tried PSK31 today and made only 19 Qs.  One of them was NQ7R, to be followed four contacts later by KQ7R.  When KQ7R popped up I first wondered why Tom was calling again.

I didn't try to keep track of states so I don't have stats for that.  I probably worked most if not all of them as I was getting around the country pretty well.

73,  Wes
