It's interesting how Amsterdam Island is about as far away from here as
most anywhere on the planet.  You can't get much further away.  I was lucky
enough to work them once on 40 cw and have been surprised how well I can
hear them.  The time to work them is on the gray line near sunrise and
sunset. The pileups are horrendous and the willful QRM is as bad as I have
ever heard.  But the operators there are first class and seem to deal with
the pileups efficiently.  So guys if you haven't worked them yet good luck
and just keep trying.  They are suppose to be there until February 20th.
 It's taken a few days but the logs are being posted on Club Log and you
don't have to be a member to check to see if your qso made into their log.
 I'm glad the club decided to contribute to their operation.
