I probably over reacted as I have been totally frustrated at the lack of interest that the SADXA club has shown. There was a total of two (2) members that talked to me about getting a slot. I was hoping that there would be a little more interest at the meeting.
I am sure that we all appreciate the time and effort that you have put into this endeavour. Guess we will see what happens in the second 100 years.

Gail,
In my email posted 26 July, I stated to have schedules to me by 11
August. Per the plan, I started the process of building the schedule on
12 August and reported this in an email on that day. I actually dawdled
a few days after that reminder and actually built the first draft on
Saturday 16 August with what I had in hand. I had presumed there was no
interest with SADXA and PCOEM since I heard nothing. I have since heard
from you about bringing up the planning process at your 21 August
meeting. I do not see how I could have waited until then and get the job
done. SADXA has some prime slots that were not being covered and I
started filling them in with some of the people who had contacted me
with requests from other groups.
Gail, to be honest, accommodating SADXA back in March was a hard thing
for me. I worked with Dick Solomon trying to figure out how to get a
fire under the SADXA planning process back then. Your inputs were very
late then too. I decided not to go the extra mile this time. If everyone
in SADXA wants to not participate because I am not very accommodating, I
wish they could see what I see.
Frankly, I think the best process is for you to simply tell people to
contact me directly with their requests for available slots. Do not wait
for the SADXA meeting, it might be too late.
Thanks,
Ned
