Greetings fellow club members,

 

You may have heard that there is going to be a SADXA Bar-B-Cue in September
so here are the details:

 

*	Saturday, Sept. 21st at 4PM ish.
*	New location: Dick's (K5RR) house - 8000 E Alvin Rd, Tucson.  It's
not far from where we have our Christmas party.
*	$5.00 charge per member, but free for member's guests.  If you can,
please pay at the September 19th meeting, otherwise you can pay at the door.
*	This year we are giving away a Baofeng VHF/UHF hand-held as a door
prize!
*	RSVP the number in your party by Sept 10th to Mike, (KC9ORD) at
<mailto:1mrcasey at gmail.com> 1mrcasey at gmail.com or 300-4661.
*	If you want to, bring something. Chips, dip, dessert and ice would
be most welcome.  There will be a page on the club web site for sign up.
*	SADXA will provide burgers, hotdogs, buns, condiments, soft drinks,
cups, napkins and plastic ware.  BYOB
*	We need a few volunteers to either show up a few minutes early to
set up and/or stay a few minutes after to clean up. A thorough cleanup, as
always, is a must.
*	Scott (KB7JAQ) and Andrew (KE7EZJ) have volunteered their cooking
skills again this year.

 

Let's ALL be there and tell stories about the one that got away and the
pileup we busted!
