FWIW,
Here is another update on my personal distance challenge, the Million Mile Challenge. I was amazed to see the results of the first 7 months of 2013. So far I have 2413 QSOs (yes been slacking off) and I did include all my contest results in addition to regular operating
Total miles: 7,853,236 ..... Average per QSO 3254.5 miles.

This becomes fairly easy to do if you or a friend have a copy of Ham Radio Deluxe. You can import an adif file of your logbook, modify the HRD logbook to add a "distance" column. Set up the operator profile to your coordinates and do a "bulk edit" of the distance and heading. Export an adif of HRD that includes all HRD columns.
Go to http://http://www.mydarc.de/DL1HW/adif_en.html for an adif to excel converter. I used this version adif2xls2adif_v0.98c.xls .

Evidently I didn't have everything in HRD set up as it exported the distance in kilometers rather than miles but that is no problem. For ease of manipulation I opened a new excel worksheet and then copied the distance column from the original spreadsheet into column A. In column B enter .621371 as a conversion factor and then in column C enter the function =a2*b2 (assuming line 2 is the first one with data) and you get miles. In column D enter =INT(C2) and you get the mileage as an integer. Copy columns B,C,and D to the bottom row of your data and then you are set to sum the total miles (=sum(d2:d2413). Looks like I will need about 3100 more QSOs to hit the Ten million mile mark.

Give yourself a challenge and see how you do. This is NOT a club competition but just an individual activity. Maybe next year a club challenge?? If you want I can convert your log to HRD and send an adif for you but you will have to do the spreadsheet yourself.
