[SADXA] Fw: [CADXA DX Talk] 2013 CQ DX Marathon Challenge from NADXA

Do we have 4-6 brave souls that would like to take on NADXA and CADXA in a challenge? See below for details. I am not certain we will get folks from CADXA to sign on but something to ponder. 73 Tom NQ7R

Hi Tom:

Thanks for the reply. The traveling trophy was set up around the CQ DX

Marathon, and with that in mind, I believe we should keep it in those guidelines.

Maybe we should take 4,5, or 6 members from each club and have them use

their own personal call for the event. At the end of the year, total up those

scores from both teams and use that for the challenge? We could start it

say on Feb 15th and go through the end of the year, with no entries before

that date or a date to be set? Each of the members involved would be determined

before the starting date. We could go up to 6 members so if you could only

get 4, we would then give you our 4 members that would be involved.

Talk it over at your meeting and let me know. I sure would like to get the

SADXA involved or a few other clubs, if possible. Anyway, its all for fun and

it helps keep members radio active!!!

Here is a message I/we received from Bob Wertz at NADXA. If you would like to accept this challenge and join a team of 6 to keep the trophy in the valley let me know fairly soon. Tom NQ7R
