Subject: Feb 14th Arizona Centennial K7UGA Operation

 

Everyone in the SADXA club is invited to the station of W6XI on February
14th to help celebrate the Arizona Centennial Celebration. We will be
supporting the Arizona Centennial Legacy Project by participating in the
K7UGA Special Event Station Operation

 

The station will up and operating at 10 AM on the 14th and anyone wanting to
come over and operate is encouraged to do so. The station will be available
as long as there is anyone wanting to operate. In the daylight hours we will
be on the WARC bands and in the evening we will switch to 40 Meters and go
until we run out of operators. We will be using the call K7UGA which is the
retired call of Senator Barry Goldwater.

 

The operation will be all SSB so no code talent will be needed.

 

If there is a certain time you would like to operate please either email me
at, jdwothe at cox.net or call me at 403-3692 and let me know so I can schedule
you in. It would also be helpful if you can call ahead to be certain we
haven't shut down because there were no operators available, or to let me
know you are still planning to be here. A call will also get you directions
on how to get to my QTH.
