Subject: Tomorrow's SADXA meeting reminder

 

Just a quick reminder of the SADXA meeting starting at 5PM Thursday October
20th at the CoCo's across from Park Place mall on Broadway.     Ned, AA7A,
will be driving down from Phoenix to talk to us about why DX is so hard on
160m and 6m way out here in the Western Boondocks.     I mangled the subject
of Ned's talk in the earlier announcement and tied it to the Solar Cycle
which I think is incorrect.  Thanks to Jim for providing a little
enlightenment.  

 

Several of us have new tower projects in the works so we each need to take
notes and pictures for a possible future program on Towers and Antennas.
Many of you may have other topics that you would like to see presented (or
present) and I am sure that Jerry would be very interested in any ideas for
future programs.

 

I am still working toward getting a large portion of our 2012 SADXA renewals
completed prior to the Christmas party so I will be ready to take your money
if you wish to renew.
