Hi Keith,
I had to make one of those myself several year ago so that I could use my MC60 microphone with the IC706.
I soldered a 12 inch piece of CAT cable with the RJ45 connector already attached to a 8 pin male mic connector and put it in a small black hobby box.

Anybody have one or know where I can get one?
Otherwise I'll need to find some parts and fire up the old soldering iron.
