        Gentlemen...........

I wish to thank all of you who responded to my dilemma
with the QSL Cards received which confirmed a QSO
        with the CADXA Club Special Event Station - K 7 U G A.

Our Special Event Operations were in 2002, 2004, 2006 and
the Armed Forces Day/Memorial Day of 2009. Those
Events resulted in over 25,500 QSO's........

Upon the comment received from Jim-N7US; which asked
if we had placed the logs onto the ARRL LoTW (which we had
NOT), we did a little inquiry, and all 26,000 Q's are
now on LoTW. A big THANK YOU goes out to
        Mike - KC7V, and Mark - K7MTR, who did the leg-work
        to get that done.

There were only about 25-30 cards that were mailed as
"Post Cards", so there were very few stamps available.
All others (nearly 800) were received in an envelope
with an SASE. The outer envelopes were discarded
when they were opened. (Oppsss...of those 800, there
were also over 75 received without an SASE or
sufficient postage!!! so CADXA picked up the return
        postage for those).

Someone asked when the next Special Event Operation
        for K 7 U G A will take place. Good Question!!! The
Arizona Centennial will be February 14, 2012, so we
may do something close to that date. Will be a decision
        of the CADXA Board.

There were several good ideas what to do with the cards,
and I will discuss a few options with the CADXA Board
at its next meeting on the 27th of this month.

        Again...........thanks for your inputs.........all good
        responses..........

        Bob Davies - K7BHM
        CADXA Secretary, Historian and
        K7UGA QSL Manager
