Dear friends,

It is with profound sorrow and despair that I must report to you the passing of my Lovely Linda Lee, my wife and best friend for over 25 years. 

Many of you knew her better than others and I would have liked to inform those of you personally, rather in this manner, but I’m simply not up to it at the moment.  Her obituary will appear in Sunday’s newspaper but I wanted her friends to hear it from me before that. Although Linda was not a ham, she supported me in the hobby and I think maybe took some personal pride and pleasure in the fact that I had the interest and so many ham friends.  She never questioned me about spending money on the hobby and more than once, when I was agonizing over some purchase, said, “You want it, buy it.”

I’m at a loss to say more.
